Our Year 1 cohort is made up of five classes: Badgers, Foxes, Hedgehogs, Otters and Squirrels.

The teachers are as follows:

Foxes - Mrs Elliment and Mrs Moss

Otters - Miss Garaguso

Hedgehogs- Miss Moore

Squirrels- Mrs McLaughlin

Badgers- Miss McGarvie

Please find the weekly Phonics homework below and practise sounds and blending on Phonics Play!

We would like to encourage you to read with your child as often as possible.  They will be assigned an e-book and a 'Borrowed Book' for you to share together or with other family members.

When their reading is recorded in their diary 4 times or more a week, they get a sticker/merit and it also adds to the total count for the whole class.  Every Friday in Wow Assembly, the class with the highest number wins the Tiger for a week.  Who will win this week?
